18th January 2025 | Beaumanor Hall, Leicestershire

Some wedding days are filled with laughter from the very start, while others begin with a few quiet nerves — and Varsha and Andy’s day had the perfect mix of both. On the morning of their wedding, there was a little anticipation in the air and those natural wedding-day butterflies, but that’s exactly what made their story so special.

From the emotional preparations at Rothley Court Hotel to a beautiful first look that helped calm the nerves, the day unfolded into something truly unforgettable. Surrounded by family, friends, and their two gorgeous little ones, Varsha and Andy celebrated with heartfelt moments, joyful laughter, and a stunning winter ceremony at Beaumanor Hall.

Their day was a perfect reflection of them as a couple — warm, genuine, and full of love.

A Relaxed Morning at Rothley Court Hotel

The day began at Rothley Court Hotel, where Varsha and Andy got ready in separate rooms. Andy spent the morning with their little boy, which meant things were a little more lively and full of energy — but that’s what made it so special and uniquely theirs. Meanwhile, Varsha was getting ready with the support of her family and their gorgeous little girl. There was laughter, a few happy tears, and plenty of excitement in the air. The atmosphere was calm yet full of anticipation — exactly the way a wedding morning should feel.

A First Look to Settle the Nerves

Before heading to the ceremony, Varsha and Andy chose to have a first look in the beautiful grounds of Rothley Court. It was such a lovely moment — just the two of them, away from the buzz of the day, taking it all in together before everything officially began.

Having that time to pause, breathe, and connect before the whirlwind of the day was extra special — not just for Varsha and Andy, but for me too, as this was the first ever first look I’ve photographed. It was such a beautiful moment to witness, and you could see how much it helped them both relax and settle any nerves. Afterward, we captured some gorgeous bridal party portraits before making our way to Beaumanor Hall for the ceremony.

A Heartfelt Ceremony at Beaumanor Hall

Beaumanor Hall in Leicestershire provided the perfect backdrop for Varsha and Andy’s ceremony. The historic architecture, elegant interiors, and stunning grounds gave the whole day a touch of timeless romance.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Varsha and Andy exchanged their vows in a heartfelt ceremony filled with emotion, laughter, and so much love. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect — soft winter light, crisp air, and just enough sunshine to make the grounds glow for their couple portraits.

Instead of traditional confetti, the couple chose beautiful ribbons, which danced through the air and surrounded them as newlyweds — a personal and unique touch that made the moment feel even more special.

An Intimate Nikkah Ceremony

After the celebrations at Beaumanor Hall, we made our way to Syston Community Centre, where Varsha and Andy held their Nikkah ceremony — a deeply personal and sentimental part of their day. Out of respect for their wishes, I didn’t photograph this beautiful moment, but it was clear how much it meant to them and their families.

The Evening Celebrations

With the formalities complete, it was time for everyone to relax, enjoy some delicious food, and celebrate! The atmosphere was full of energy, love, and laughter — the perfect ending to a day that truly reflected Varsha and Andy’s story.

A Perfect Start to Married Life

Varsha and Andy’s wedding was a day full of heartfelt moments, thoughtful details, and genuine joy. From their quiet first look to the laughter on the dance floor, it was such a privilege to capture their story and all the little memories that will last a lifetime.

If you’re planning your own wedding at Beaumanor Hall, Rothley Court Hotel, or anywhere across Leicestershire, I’d love to help you capture your day in a natural and relaxed way — just like I did for Varsha and Andy.

We had a very intimate and small ceremony for our wedding. Candice was an amazing photographer. She captured every moment with integrity. She was very professional and her assistant was very helpful too. She made our day very special by capturing beautiful photos and suggesting photos we could take. She was very through in her planning and even contacted the venues in advance so she could position herself well and capture the best pictures. She went above and beyond to make our small event feel special. She listened to our instructions well and was careful when to take photos and when not to. She asked many questions which helped us feel reassured.

The photographers depicted us as we are in our natural and candid poses which made it even more special. The editing was done really well. It was not over done we felt like it showed us as we are.

She was very friendly to all the guests and made everyone feel at ease.

Amazing photographer and person.
