HEY THERE, I’M CANDI!

Wedding photographer, mum, wife, music lover and unofficial wedding-day wingwoman

I’m here for the people, the moments and everything that happens in between.

I’m Candi, a wedding photographer based in Coventry, covering Warwickshire and the West Midlands. I left teaching in 2017 to follow my love of photography, and somewhere along the way weddings completely stole my heart.

For me, it’s never just about taking beautiful photographs. It’s about helping you feel comfortable, keeping things calm when the day gets busy, giving you a little direction when you need it, and knowing when to step back and let everything unfold.

Because the photographs I love most are the ones that feel like you.

“Candice was calm, reassuring, and an absolute joy to have by our side.”

“She was always there when we needed her, offering quiet encouragement, kindness, and support during moments when things felt overwhelming.”

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

Photography wasn’t always the plan.

I started out as a teacher, but photography was always the thing I kept coming back to. In 2017, I decided to take it more seriously and what started as something I loved gradually became the career I couldn’t imagine not having.

Weddings were the bit that really got me. The nerves before the ceremony, the ridiculous laughs, the proud parents, the chaos, the quiet moments nobody else notices, I love all of it.

These days, when I’m not photographing weddings, I’m usually spending quality time with my young family, listening to music far too loudly, planning my next McFly gig or convincing myself I definitely don’t need another camera bag.

STORY

A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KNOW…

Mum of three.

HUGE McFly fan.

Coffee over Tea.

Will absolutely get excited about good confetti.

Usually happiest outside somewhere.

Former teacher, so organising a group photo doesn’t scare me.

YOU DON’T NEED TO LOVE HAVING YOUR PHOTO TAKEN.

Most of my couples tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera and honestly, that’s completely normal.

With me as your photographer you won’t be left wondering what to do with your hands or asked to spend ages posing. I’ll give you a little direction when you need it, keep things relaxed, and make sure your portraits feel like you rather than a version of you performing for the camera.

The rest of the time, I’ll be there quietly documenting the real stuff. The hugs, the chaos, the laughter, the people you love and all the little moments you didn’t even realise were happening.
